The group stage of BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026 is in the books, and the playoff bracket is officially set. Six teams have survived the gauntlet and will now compete on the biggest stage — the 15,000-seat Ahoy Arena in Rotterdam, Netherlands — from March 27 to 29 for the tournament title.
The Six Qualified Teams
Here are the teams that made the cut, along with their current HLTV rankings:
- Vitality (#1) — Group winner, bye to semi-finals
- Natus Vincere (#5) — Group winner, bye to semi-finals
- Falcons (#4) — Qualified via lower bracket
- Aurora (#6) — Qualified via upper bracket
- PARIVISION (#7) — Qualified via upper bracket
- The MongolZ (#9) — Sealed final spot with a dominant win over Spirit
Quarterfinal Matchups
Aurora vs. The MongolZ — March 27, 15:00 CET
Aurora enter the playoffs after a strong showing in the groups, including a statement win over FURIA. The MongolZ, however, are riding a wave of momentum after making history with their first-ever series win over MOUZ. Ayush "mzinho" Batbold was sensational in their qualifying match against Spirit, and if he continues that form, The MongolZ could spring another upset.
PARIVISION vs. Falcons — March 27, 18:30 CET
This is a rematch of their PGL Cluj-Napoca quarterfinal encounter. PARIVISION crushed Spirit 2-0 to qualify, while Falcons took the scenic route through the lower bracket — outlasting FURIA 2-1 in a gritty three-map series where they came back from 3-9 down on the deciding map Nuke. The question is whether Falcons have enough gas left in the tank after their grueling path.
Semi-Finals — March 28
The winners of the quarterfinals advance to face the group toppers:
- Vitality vs. Aurora/MongolZ winner — 15:00 CET
- Natus Vincere vs. PARIVISION/Falcons winner — 18:30 CET
Vitality, currently ranked #1 in the world, have looked imperious throughout the group stage. NAVI were equally dominant, dismantling Aurora 2-0 in their final group match with convincing wins on Anubis (13-8) and Nuke (13-10). The byes give both teams rest and preparation time — a significant advantage in a LAN environment.
Grand Final — March 29, 12:30 CET
The championship match takes place on Saturday, March 29, with the full Ahoy Arena crowd behind the action. With the world's #1 and #5 ranked teams on opposite sides of the bracket, a Vitality vs. NAVI grand final is the dream scenario — but upsets at BLAST events are never off the table.
What to Watch
This is the first BLAST Open playoff to be held at Ahoy Arena, one of Europe's premier entertainment venues. With 15,000 seats and Rotterdam's passionate esports crowd, the atmosphere promises to be electric.
The stakes extend beyond just this tournament — strong performances here build momentum heading into the PGL Astana Major qualifying cycle, where every team will be looking to secure their spot at the biggest event of the year.
