Pinnacle, GG.Bet, Thunderpick and Rivalry released opening futures markets for the IEM Cologne Major 2026 on May 24 — nine days before the bracket opens. The consensus board:
- Spirit — 4.50 (favourite, on PGL Astana title and donk's 11th career MVP)
- NAVI — 5.00 (clean IEM Atlanta sweep, w0nderful MVP at 1.44)
- Vitality — 5.50 (drifted from 3.80 last week after Atlanta top-8)
- Falcons — 7.50 (PGL Astana finalist)
- MOUZ — 7.50 (consistent top-4 but no 2026 title)
- FURIA — 11.0, The MongolZ — 13.0, Aurora — 15.0, PARIVISION — 17.0
- Field (Stage 1 qualifiers) — 12.5 combined
The Vitality drift is the headline
The drift on Vitality is the most-discussed move of the release. They opened the year as 3.50-3.80 consensus favourite across the same four books, and the Atlanta top-8 exit shifted them to 5.50 — a 45% drift in implied probability terms inside eight days. The same books still rate Vitality top-three by underlying-model points; the drift reflects price balancing more than analytical conviction.
Where the sharp money is going
Sharp action across all four books in the first six hours of the market has gone to Spirit at 4.50 and to The MongolZ at 13.0. The MongolZ have not posted a deep Major run since their semifinal at PGL Bucharest 2025, but the price gap between them and the tier-1.5 sides (Aurora, PARIVISION) is wider than recent results justify. Pinnacle specifically opened MongolZ at 14.0 and were trimmed to 13.0 within four hours.
