PARIVISION have locked in their spot at the BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026 playoffs after an emphatic 2-0 victory over Team Spirit on March 21. The series was barely competitive, with PARIVISION annihilating Spirit on the first map and cruising through the second.
Map 1: Anubis (PARIVISION 13-3)
The opening map was a massacre. PARIVISION dominated every aspect of the game on Anubis, allowing Spirit just three rounds in what became a statement victory. Spirit, one of the tournament's more fancied teams, looked completely out of sorts — unable to find answers to PARIVISION's aggressive setups and flawless executes.
Map 2: Ancient (PARIVISION 13-8)
Spirit showed more fight on Ancient but were still unable to seriously challenge PARIVISION's control. At 13-8, the second map was closer on paper but never truly felt in doubt, as PARIVISION managed their economy well and converted key rounds when it mattered.
Playoff Picture
With this victory, PARIVISION join Natus Vincere and Aurora as confirmed playoff teams. PARIVISION will now prepare for an upper-bracket final against the winner of Vitality vs The MongolZ, with a win securing a direct semi-final placement.
Spirit, meanwhile, drop to the lower bracket where they need two more wins to keep their Rotterdam dreams alive. For a team with Major ambitions, this is a setback that demands a response.
What This Means
PARIVISION's dominant run through the group stage has been the surprise story of BLAST Rotterdam. The team entered as relative underdogs but have looked composed and clinical in every series. If they can maintain this form into the playoffs at Ahoy Arena (March 27-29), they could be a serious threat to the established favorites.
