PGL Bucharest Day 4: 3DMAX, The MongolZ, and MIBR Secure Playoff Spots

PGL Bucharest Day 4: 3DMAX, The MongolZ, and MIBR Secure Playoff Spots

Day 4 of PGL Bucharest 2026 determined the final 3-1 playoff qualifiers and eliminated three more teams from the Swiss stage. Six of eight playoff spots are now locked in, with the final two to be decided on Day 5.

Qualified for Playoffs (3-1)

3DMAX 2-0 PARIVISION (Inferno 13-9, Dust2 13-9)

3DMAX delivered a clinical performance against tournament favorites PARIVISION, winning both maps 13-9. The French squad showed excellent composure under pressure and were rewarded with a playoff spot. PARIVISION, who entered as the #1 seed, now drop to the 2-2 pool where they face elimination.

The MongolZ 2-0 Wildcard

The MongolZ continued their strong form from BLAST Rotterdam with a clean sweep of Wildcard. mzinho once again stood out as the team's star, and the Mongolian squad look like genuine dark horses for the trophy.

MIBR 2-0 EYEBALLERS

MIBR secured their spot with a dominant display against EYEBALLERS. The Brazilian squad will hope to carry this momentum into the playoffs.

Eliminated (1-3)

B8 2-0 Inner Circle

B8 survived while Inner Circle were sent home with a 1-3 record. Despite their notable win over FaZe, Inner Circle couldn't sustain their form.

Legacy 2-0 NRG

NRG's disappointing tournament ended with a 1-3 elimination. Legacy advance to the 2-2 pool for a chance at the final playoff spots.

FOKUS 2-0 BC.Game

The biggest storyline of the day. BC.Game, featuring s1mple and electroNic, were eliminated 1-3. After failing to qualify for the IEM Cologne Major, BC.Game had pinned their hopes on Bucharest — only to fall short again. s1mple's return to competitive CS2 continues to be plagued by team results that don't match his individual ambition.

  2. FUT Esports (3-0)
  3. 3DMAX (3-1)

Day 5 Preview
