Vitality Antwerp Bootcamp Day 1 — Week 1 Scrim Block With NAVI + Spirit Confirmed, ZywOo Posts Bootcamp Vlog

Vitality opened their two-week Antwerp bootcamp June 30 morning — Day 1 of the BLAST Spring Finals 2026 preparation block. The team arrived at the Vitality HQ facility on June 29 evening, with morning training starting at 09:00 CEST June 30. Coach XTQZZZ confirmed the week-1 scrim partners.

Week 1 scrim schedule (June 30 - July 6)

  • Mon June 30: Team meeting + light scrim block (no opponent — internal 3v2 scenarios)
  • Tue July 1: NAVI scrim Bo3 (Mirage + Inferno + Ancient). NAVI bring their stand-in trial candidate fnatic_v1 (Tier-2 IGL).
  • Wed July 2: Spirit scrim Bo3 (Anubis + Nuke + Train). Anubis with the new CT-spawn timing.
  • Thu July 3: Recovery day — team analysis of the NAVI + Spirit scrim block. No live scrims.
  • Fri July 4: NAVI scrim Bo3 (Dust2 + Mirage + Inferno). NAVI second stand-in trial candidate (Soren "sjr" Madsen from academy).
  • Sat July 5: Spirit scrim Bo3 (Ancient + Nuke + Anubis).
  • Sun July 6: Off-day. Players free to stream / personal time.

The NAVI stand-in read

The decision to scrim NAVI twice in week 1 — with both stand-in candidates fnatic_v1 and sjr Madsen — is XTQZZZ's deliberate strategy. Vitality want to see how the NAVI stand-in trial plays against tier-1 reads before NAVI's Spring Finals QF2 against MOUZ. From the Vitality side: scrim data on a stand-in IGL's default-execute timings provides leading-indicator value if Vitality face NAVI in the bracket beyond QF.

The ZywOo bootcamp vlog

ZywOo posted a 6-minute bootcamp vlog on Vitality's official YouTube channel June 30 noon. Highlights:

  • Facility tour — isolated team rooms, scrim server rack, recovery facility, kitchen, player accommodation wing.
  • Day 1 team briefing footage (12 seconds shown, no audio — content under team-strategy NDA).
  • ZywOo's pre-bootcamp interview: "This bootcamp is different than the pre-Cologne block. Cologne was about preparing for the unknown. This is about confirming what we know works and adapting to what we know doesn't. The Senzu 1v3 was the moment. We've been talking about it. Now we work."
  • End-of-vlog: scenic shot of Antwerp's evening skyline from the facility window.

The Senzu 1v3 review session (day 1 morning)

Per the team briefing footage, Vitality's day-1 morning session included a detailed review of the Senzu 1v3 B-site retake on Dust2 round 23 (Cologne 2026 Grand Final). Coach XTQZZZ frames this as: "The defining moment of the 2026 cycle. We were on B-site with three players. We made the read on the default-defence. Senzu's spray pattern was elite. We do not lose this round 19 times out of 20. We need to know why we lost it the one time."

What scrim partners are reading

Spirit's choice to scrim Vitality twice in week 1 mirrors Vitality's NAVI approach. Spirit head coach Cooper confirmed in his pre-bootcamp interview: "We need to face the Vitality reads before Spring Finals because the SF1 from Cologne is the prep template. If we meet them in the bracket beyond QF this time, we want fresh data."
