AWP Lightning Strike prices, sticker crafts, and why this cyan-and-blue AWP is one of CS2's most iconic sniper finishes.
The AWP | Lightning Strike is one of Counter-Strike's original covert AWP finishes. Released in the Arms Deal Collection in August 2013, it depicts a stylised lightning bolt on a deep-blue background — clean, high-contrast, and instantly readable at range. Lightning Strike exists only in Factory New condition (no Minimal Wear, Field-Tested or lower wears drop), which caps supply significantly.
Regular AWP Lightning Strike trades at $700–2,000 depending on float value (lower float within Factory New = higher price). StatTrak versions add a 40–70% premium. Souvenir Lightning Strikes from Majors — especially with pro-team sticker crafts — have sold for five-figure sums. The Arms Deal Collection is not officially discontinued but drops so rarely that supply is functionally frozen.
Below are the active Lightning Strike variants in our database with live cross-market prices.
AWP Lightning Strike Factory New trades $700–1,200 for higher-float examples, $1,400–2,000 for low-float, and $2,500+ for top-percentile floats with clean stickers. StatTrak Factory New reaches $1,500–3,000. Souvenir versions from Majors can clear $10,000+.
Lightning Strike was designed with a very tight wear range (0.00–0.07 float value), which places every possible drop within the Factory New band (0.00–0.07). This is not a bug — it is by design, and only three other CS2 skins share this "Factory New only" property. It permanently caps supply and pushes long-term appreciation.
Both are Factory New-only AWP finishes. Fade has a warmer aesthetic (pink/purple/yellow gradient) and trades at 2–3x the price of Lightning Strike. Lightning Strike is the value pick — a signature covert AWP at $1,000–2,000 with the same "FN-only" scarcity dynamic driving long-term price stability.
Yes for long-term collectors. Lightning Strike prices have appreciated steadily since 2016 driven by FN-only supply cap. Downside: relatively low liquidity for a $1,000+ item. Expect 1–2 week time-to-sell at fair asking price. StatTrak versions are more liquid because collectors specifically hunt for them.
