Ninjas in Pyjamas have parted ways with in-game leader Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer after 18 months at the helm. The 36-year-old Danish veteran has been benched by mutual agreement to make way for a new IGL, the org confirmed on August 31.

The Snappi era
Snappi took over the NIP IGL role in early 2025 with a mandate to rebuild the org's Danish-first core. The tenure delivered a quarterfinal finish at PGL Astana and a handful of smaller-tier titles, but consistent top-20 rankings proved elusive.
His fragging role, always the secondary metric for an IGL, declined more sharply than expected: 0.83 rating average vs top-20 opposition across the last six months. NIP's HR side finally moved when the org confirmed the search for a replacement caller had been active since PGL Astana concluded.

Snappi has not publicly commented on his next steps. NIP have not named the incoming IGL, and n0te continues as the stand-in fifth while the search runs.
