Denis "electroNic" Sharipov sat down with HLTV on October 23 to look back at his Virtus.pro chapter — including a broadcast moment that cost him reputation points.
On the VP mentality
"Two very young players who needed to be taught and explained a lot about how Counter-Strike works."
On his behavior
"My ambitions were too high, which is why I probably behaved that way."
"You can't behave like that at all, because it can affect the player in the moment."
"If I'd had back then the experience I have now, I definitely wouldn't have behaved that way."
The ICY moment
During a PGL Bucharest 2025 broadcast, electroNic was caught reprimanding teammate ICY. He now describes that as a lesson in being "a bit more restrained," while still being demanding.
Current status
- Benched at BC.Game (ranked #51)
- Replaced by Tyson "asap" Paterson in BC.Game's Asia-VRS switch (he declined to discuss: "I don't want to discuss it")
- Appeared on broadcast at 1win Private Club Season 2 in his free time
Next team
"Waiting around for an invite from a top-five team in the world — I'm probably not in a position to count on that."
Preference: Russian-speaking team, but would consider English-speaking.
