HLTV Names EVPs and All-Star Roster of IEM Cologne Major 2026

Two days after Falcons lifted the IEM Cologne Major 2026 trophy, HLTV published its post-event awards, naming ten Exceptional Valuable Player honorees and the tournament's All-Star roster. The list confirms just how dominant Falcons' top-of-the-order performers were and highlights standouts from FURIA, Spirit, and Aurora.

The MVP

Ilya 'm0NESY' Osipov took the HLTV x 1XBET MVP award with a tournament-leading 1.25 rating. He was joined on the All-Star roster by NiKo, donk, karrigan as in-game leader, and HeavyGod as Anchor of the Event, per HLTV's official awards graphic.

The EVPs

According to HLTV, the ten players who received EVP recognition included Spirit's donk despite his semifinal misstep, FURIA's molodoy for his grand final showing, yuurih and KSCERATO for the FURIA run, YEKINDAR for his tournament performance, and a number of Falcons and other playoff-team names. donk's EVP came in large part on the back of his 2.27 average rating in Stage 3 - a record for a single Major stage.

The Kyousuke Storyline

Kyousuke, the youngest Falcons player, made the EVP list on the back of his semifinal performance against Spirit. Insider Gaming noted at the time that kyousuke 'outshone donk over the course of the series against Team Spirit,' a headline-worthy contrast between two of the game's brightest young riflers.

Award Selection Context

HLTV's post-Major EVP awards typically carry weight into the annual Top 20 rankings released in December and January. Multiple Cologne 2026 EVPs - m0NESY, NiKo, donk, and yuurih chief among them - are expected to feature prominently when the mid-year Top 20 update conversation ramps up.
