MOUZ have booked their place in the semifinals of the BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2 Finals in Malta after a dramatic 2-1 comeback victory over French side 3DMAX. The best-of-three quarterfinal marked the opening playoff clash of the LAN event at BLAST Arena Studios.

3DMAX Almost Pull the Upset
The French squad came out of the gate firing on Dust2, taking their own map pick 13-10 to put themselves within one map of a stunning quarterfinal upset. Their T-side aggression and rotations troubled MOUZ throughout the first half, and the momentum carried into the opening rounds of Nuke.
Nuke Turning Point
Nuke proved to be the pivot of the series. The map went the full distance and into overtime, where MOUZ finally cracked 3DMAX's defensive setups to close it out 22-18. It was a bruising, momentum-swinging affair that visibly drained the French roster heading into the decider.
Inferno Blowout
Any hopes of a 3DMAX rally on Inferno evaporated almost immediately. MOUZ dominated both sides of the map to seal it 13-3, converting the Nuke escape into a decisive statement win. The German-based squad advance to the semifinals, while 3DMAX exit the tournament in the 5th-8th placement bracket.

MOUZ's semifinal opponent will be determined by the remaining July 31 quarterfinal results between FaZe vs The MongolZ and Astralis vs paiN Gaming. The tournament wraps up on Sunday, August 2 with the best-of-five Grand Final at BLAST Arena Studios in Malta, where a $1.15 million prize pool is on the line.
