The Souvenir-O-Matic, one of the most significant changes to CS2's souvenir economy in the game's history, went live on May 22, 2026. The tool lets players convert eligible non-StatTrak weapon skins from their own inventory into tournament souvenirs tied to specific IEM Cologne 2026 matches.
The end of random souvenirs
Starting with IEM Cologne 2026, viewers no longer receive random souvenir skin containers during live match drops. Instead, the entire souvenir system was redesigned around player-driven crafting. Pick any eligible skin, pick any completed match, pick any player from that match, and craft a souvenir with their autograph attached.
How it works
- Open the IEM Cologne 2026 Major Hub in CS2
- Select any eligible normal-quality weapon from your inventory
- Choose a completed IEM Cologne 2026 match
- Pick a player whose autograph you want applied
- Confirm the conversion by spending Cologne 2026 tokens
Cost mechanics
Each craft costs the total value of the gold stickers applied — team, autograph, and map stickers. Discounts scale with skin rarity, ranging from 85% to 99%. Cheaper skins receive larger discounts, while high-end covert skins get lighter ones.
The map sticker exclusivity
One critical detail: the map sticker cannot be purchased directly in the new Major Shop. It exists only inside a crafted souvenir. This effectively makes the Souvenir-O-Matic the sole path to owning a Cologne 2026 map sticker.
Dynamic pricing per craft
The Souvenir-O-Matic uses dynamic pricing tied to demand. Popular teams and star players raise the craft cost. Vitality's ZywOo or Team Spirit's donk will cost significantly more than lower-tier match participants — the market decides.
Souvenir-quality inputs
Existing souvenir-quality weapons from prior Majors are also eligible as inputs. The system creates a new souvenir tied to a Cologne 2026 match while preserving certain metadata from the original.
Permanent conversion
Once crafted, a souvenir cannot be reversed. Players are strongly encouraged to think carefully before committing high-value skins to the Souvenir-O-Matic.
