Team Falcons are the IEM Cologne Major 2026 champions. The Saudi-backed organization defeated FURIA Esports 3-0 in the grand final on June 21 at the LANXESS Arena, ending one of the most anticipated title chases of the CS2 era.
Map 1: Mirage — Falcons 13-8
Falcons opened on Mirage with a clinical performance. karrigan's calls were on point, and m0NESY's early AWP picks in mid rounds set the tone. FURIA never found their rhythm, and the map fell 13-8 to Falcons.
Map 2: Anubis — Falcons 13-8
Anubis followed a similar pattern. m0NESY continued his tournament-defining form, and NiKo delivered clutch after clutch on the CT side. FURIA's KSCERATO gave Brazilian fans reasons to cheer, but the map was Falcons' the whole way. 13-8 to Falcons.
Map 3: Inferno — Falcons 13-8
FURIA's own map pick, Inferno, was supposed to be the Brazilians' best chance. Instead, Falcons closed the tournament in the cleanest possible way. TeSeS made critical impact frags, kyousuke was steady, and karrigan called an outstanding series-ending map. 13-8 for the final time, and Falcons were champions.

The MVP
Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov was awarded the HLTV x 1XBET MVP with a series rating of 1.25. It was his first ever Major MVP and the culmination of years of being labeled the "Baby GoAT."
Historic Significance
NiKo finally has his first Major trophy after 18 attempts. karrigan wins his second (PGL Antwerp 2022 the first). zonic adds to his coaching legend. For Falcons the organization, it's their first Major title.
Sticker Market Reaction
Falcons (Gold) | Cologne 2026 immediately doubled in price on marketplaces post-final, and m0NESY's autograph rocketed. The Champions capsule status of the Gold sticker was confirmed by the historic win.
