IEM Cologne 2026 Wrap-Up — 127,300 Stage 3 Attendance Record, Capsule Cycle Closes MongolZ +312%, ZywOo Silver Closes Vitality Dynasty Chapter

IEM Cologne 2026 closes June 21 night with The MongolZ as champions, Vitality runner-up, and the largest CS2 Major capsule cycle rally on record.

Stage 3 attendance record

Stage 3 attendance reached 127,300 across the seven sessions — the highest Stage 3 attendance in IEM Cologne history. The MongolZ-paiN QF3 session (June 18) and the Grand Final session (June 21) both sold out at 18,400, with the Mongolian fan community holding 2,400 tickets across the cycle (the largest international single-country block in IEM Cologne history).

Capsule cycle final close

  1. The MongolZ holo: +312% — the largest single-Major holo rally on record. Champion premium plus first-Mongolian-Major-winner historic-context rally.
  2. Vitality holo: +147% — runner-up holds, dynasty-defence partial close.
  3. Spirit holo: +41% — SF1 elimination, partial close.
  4. MOUZ holo: +28% — SF2 elimination, partial close.
  5. NAVI / Falcons / paiN / Aurora: averaged -38% post-elimination crashes below cycle baseline.

Player gold pyramid final close

  1. bLitz $215 mean — first three-digit Mongolian player-gold, top-priced CS2 player-gold sticker on Skinport. Major MVP capstone.
  2. ZywOo $172 — second-straight Major Grand Final silver, but the Champions-stage carry sustained the price.
  3. donk $108 — Spirit SF1 elimination, but the 1.42 QF2 rating + 1.41 SF1 rating kept the price triple-digit.
  4. frozen $79 — MOUZ SF2 elimination, but the 1.39 QF4 carry rally sustained the price.

The MongolZ post-tournament

The MongolZ confirmed via post-game press conference that the roster will not change ahead of the next cycle. ESL invited The MongolZ as defending champions to BLAST World Finals 2026 (December 2026). Mongolian president congratulated the team in a statement.

Vitality post-tournament

Vitality runner-up at IEM Cologne 2026 marks the second straight Major Grand Final silver for the roster (Cologne 2025 to Aurora, Cologne 2026 to MongolZ). The Vitality dynasty era of mid-2025 onwards remains intact via the world-rank #1 sustained position, but the 2026 Major chapter closes without the trophy ZywOo personally noted in the post-match interview was his top-2026 priority.

Next cycle

The Stage 4 cycle continues with BLAST Spring Finals 2026 (July 2026), PGL Astana 2 (August 2026), and the third 2026 Major: BLAST Rio 2026 (October 2026). The MongolZ enter as defending Major champions. Vitality enter looking for their first Cologne 2026 redemption shot.
