Fantasy picks for the Thunderpick World Championship 2026 (October 14-18, Malta, $1M) tilt heavily toward Falcons and Aurora.
Most-picked
- Most popular team overall: Falcons
- Most popular player overall: Finn "karrigan" Andersen (Falcons) — featured on 34% of all teams
- karrigan is also the cheapest player in the game at $173k
- Most popular Aurora player: Özgür "woxic" Eker — 28% of teams
- Aurora placed four players in the top 10 picks
The karrigan paradox
karrigan's recent form is poor:
- 0.77 rating over the past three months
- In the red in 9 of his last 10 maps
The pick is price-driven, not form-driven.
woxic form
1.05 rating over 59 maps in the past three months.
Fixture context
Aurora face Falcons in the winners' match, after losing to them a few days earlier at EPL S24 (Falcons group stage, bounced back when Vitality knocked Falcons out in a reverse-sweep later).
