The AK-47 | Vulcan in Field-Tested is one of the most iconic AK skins in CS history — and one of the most aspirational entry-level Covert AKs you can hold without committing to Fire Serpent or Wild Lotus money. Designed by community contributor Hai-Sky and released in the Operation Bloodhound Case (May 2015), Vulcan applies a high-saturation white-and-orange motorsport livery to the AK that reads as 1980s touring-car art rather than military equipment.
Why this skin endured
Most Bloodhound-era covert skins have faded from active player attention. Vulcan didn't. The reasons compound: (1) a clean, recognizable color story — the white panels with orange accents are legible from any distance; (2) consistent pattern — every Vulcan looks essentially the same, no pattern lottery, no premium seeds; and (3) a strong sticker pairing — Crown Foil and esports holos both work visually against the white-and-orange.
