About AK-47 | X-Ray
The AK-47 | X-Ray in Minimal Wear is one of the rarest AK-47 finishes in CS2 — and unique because it can only be obtained through a single source: the Operation Wildfire access pass discovery (February 2016). X-Ray was never placed in any case or other operation reward path. The skeletal X-ray imagery over a deep blue base is one of the most distinctive AK designs ever shipped.
Why X-Ray is structurally rare
Unlike case-drop skins, X-Ray's entire supply was generated during the Wildfire pass window. No new copies enter circulation. This makes X-Ray a closed-supply asset with a permanently fixed population, and MW copies particularly are sought by collectors who want playable condition without FN premiums.
Wildfire context
X-Ray is paired culturally with Wild Lily and other Wildfire-era rare items. The Wildfire pass closed in 2016 and supply has been declining as copies move into long-term collector vaults.
