Released with the Anubis Collection (Operation Riptide, September 2021), Queen's Gambit applies a black-and-white chess-motif design across the AWP receiver — geometric chess board panels with classical chess piece silhouettes, a design language that reads as game-theory aesthetic rather than military equipment.

The AWP has dozens of skins competing for attention. Queen's Gambit survives in collector rotation because the chess-design concept is genuinely unique in CS2 and ages well — the visual reference points (chess tradition) don't date the way pop-culture or fashion references do. MW preservation
The chess panel borders and piece silhouettes degrade visibly past Field-Tested. MW keeps the geometric structure clean while shaving the FN premium. For the chess-design read this is the value-correct condition.
