About ★ Bayonet | Crimson Web
The ★ Bayonet | Crimson Web in Well-Worn is heritage CS:GO at its purest — the original 2013 knife model paired with the original Crimson Web finish. Released as part of the launch knife collection in August 2013, this combination was one of the first knives to reward pattern hunting before "pattern hunting" was a term.
Web pattern variance
Crimson Web's value swings entirely on web density and placement. Triple Web seeds (three or more complete webs visible on the play side) command 50-100% premiums. Double Web is the upper-mid tier. Single Web floats are the bulk price. Some seeds also produce spider patterns — a complete web with the cartoon spider centered on the play face — and these have separate collector premiums.
Why WW works on Crimson Web
Crimson Web is one of the rare finishes where higher wear can actually improve the visual. At Well-Worn the red web stands out against the increasingly desaturated black base, making the pattern read more clearly than on FN where the backdrop is uniform glossy black. Web hunters often skip MW and FN in favor of WW or BS for exactly this reason.
