About ★ Bayonet | Gamma Doppler
The ★ Bayonet | Gamma Doppler in Minimal Wear is the phase-driven sibling of the classic Doppler, with green ruby/sapphire/emerald range replacing the original blue/purple lottery. Released in the Gamma Case (June 2016), Gamma Doppler keeps the four-phase mechanic — each copy is one of Phase 1, 2, 3, or 4 — and the phase, not the float, is the dominant value driver.
Phase mechanics on Bayonet
Phase 1 carries deep teal-emerald saturation across the blade; Phase 2 layers more black contrast; Phase 3 introduces purple-magenta cuts; Phase 4 is the rarer high-purple variant. On the Bayonet's straight blade, phase reads cleanly from the play face — unlike Karambit where the curve hides parts of the gradient. Emerald (rare green-dominant variant) commands the highest premium of all phases.
Why MW is the practical buy
Minimal Wear preserves the phase colours at near-FN saturation while opening a meaningful price gap to Factory New. The Doppler base coat doesn't develop visible wear scratches until WW, so MW reads as a clean copy at any normal viewing distance. For traders building toward an Emerald or Phase 4, the MW tier is the standard entry point — FN copies are reserved for buyers chasing the specific float bracket on top of the phase premium.
