About ★ Butterfly Knife | Autotronic
The ★ Butterfly Knife | Autotronic in Factory New is one of the most engineered Butterfly Knife configurations in CS2 — Autotronic's chrome-and-black mechanical-engraving aesthetic from the Spectrum Collection (March 2017) wraps the Butterfly's flipping silhouette. The Butterfly Knife is one of the most premium-priced knife models, and Autotronic is among its most expensive finishes.
Why FN matters
Autotronic's mechanical engraving — fine cogs, circuit lines, machined detailing — relies on edge-detail clarity. MW already shows wear creeping through the engravings; FT visibly muddies the central design. FN preserves the engineer's precision and is the only condition where the design renders as intended on the Butterfly's flippable blade.
Spectrum Collection retirement
The Spectrum Case has been retired from active drops for years. Butterfly Knives drop rates were already lottery-tier within Spectrum; Autotronic FN is essentially closed-supply. Long-term hold characteristics — most owners hold for years before flipping.
