About ★ Butterfly Knife | Blue Steel
The ★ Butterfly Knife | Blue Steel in Factory New is one of the cleanest minimalist Butterfly configurations in CS2 — Blue Steel's subtle gradient from steel-blue to deep navy from the original Bravo Collection (September 2013) wraps the Butterfly's flippable blade with restrained, professional aesthetics.
Why FN is essential
Blue Steel is a low-saturation gradient finish where wear is disproportionately visible. The blue gradient relies on smooth color transition; MW already shows scratches breaking the surface, FT erodes the gradient into noise. FN preserves the steel-tempered look — that polished metallurgy feel that makes Blue Steel the connoisseur's Butterfly choice. Float-hunters target sub-0.03 floats for the deepest blue saturation.
Bravo Collection scarcity
The Bravo Collection has been retired since 2013 and was never re-released. Butterfly Knives drop rates were already lottery-tier; Blue Steel FN is essentially closed-supply. Long-term hold characteristics with extreme rarity at low floats.
