The ★ Butterfly Knife | Lore in Factory New is one of the most thematically rich knife finishes in CS2 — gold-engraved scrollwork wraps the blade, hilt, and pivots, paired with a dark brushed base. From the Operation Broken Fang Collection (December 2020), Lore is the Butterfly Knife's answer to high-craftsmanship engraved knives.
Why FN matters
The fine scrollwork relies on edge-detail clarity. MW already shows light wear creeping through the gold engravings; FT visibly muddies the thinnest scroll lines. FN preserves the engraver's precision and is the only condition where the scrollwork renders as intended.

The Butterfly Knife is one of the most premium-priced knife models in CS2, and Lore sits among its most expensive finishes. Trades are slow — most owners are long-term collectors of engraved-style finishes (Lore, Autotronic, Black Laminate).
