The ★ Flip Knife | Gamma Doppler in Factory New is one of the more pattern-driven Flip Knife configurations in CS2 — the Flip's curved blade frames Gamma Doppler's emerald-green chromatic phases distinctly. From the Gamma Case (June 2016), this is a classic-line knife combination that has appreciated steadily since the Gamma cases retired.
Phase lottery
Each Gamma Doppler rolls Phase 1, 2, 3, 4, or Emerald. Phase 1 has the deepest black blade with green highlights, Phase 4 the brightest emerald saturation. Emerald is the chase phase — extreme premiums over standard phases. The Flip Knife's mid-size blade gives each phase a clean visual frame.
Why FN matters
Gamma Doppler's green chromatics peak at FN. MW already shows mild dulling on the chrome highlights; FT noticeably mutes the green channel. FN is the consensus condition for serious Gamma Doppler holders.
