About Glock-18 | Fade
The Glock-18 | Fade is one of the most coveted T-side pistol skins in CS2. Released in August 2013 with the Assault Collection, Glock Fade has been a collector reference since CS:GO's earliest days. Twelve years later, FN specimens trade above $2,000 — extraordinary for a Restricted-tier pistol skin and reflective of Fade's enduring aesthetic appeal across weapon types.
Design
Fade renders the Glock's polymer frame and slide in a smooth purple-pink-yellow gradient — the same palette used on Karambit Fade and Butterfly Fade. The Glock's compact, modern profile makes the gradient particularly visible during inspect; light catches the slide and produces dramatic color shifts. Pattern variation determines yellow-vs-purple coverage.
Drop Source & Supply
Glock Fade drops from the Assault Collection, a no-longer-actively-dropping launch collection. This makes Glock Fade one of the rarer T-side pistols. Active FN supply is estimated at ~2,800 specimens — small for a popular pistol skin. Combined with strong long-term collector demand, this produces consistent appreciation.
Market Position
Glock Fade FN trades at ~$2,070. Pattern 100% Fade specimens command +20-30% premiums. Through 2025-2026 it has appreciated +16% per year. The skin is the canonical "expensive Glock" — collectors who own a Karambit Fade or Butterfly Fade often pair them with a Glock Fade to complete a thematic set.
