The M4A4 | Poseidon in Minimal Wear is the practical-purchase variant of one of the most mythic M4A4 finishes in CS2. From the Gods and Monsters Collection (May 2015), Poseidon's teal-and-gold Greek-relief artwork remains visually striking at MW — the trident detail and sea-foam gradients still render cleanly, only the finest relief edges softening compared to FN.
MW vs FN tradeoff
FN Poseidon commands an extreme premium driven by Gods-and-Monsters scarcity at low floats. MW preserves about 90% of visual fidelity at a more accessible entry — the relief artwork remains sharp, the gold border holds, the marine-blue base reads identically. For owners who actually use the M4A4 rather than vault it, MW is the consensus condition.
Closed-collection context
The Gods and Monsters Collection has been retired since 2015 and was never re-released. Poseidon supply is fixed at every wear including MW. Long-term hold characteristics with slow turnover and asks that have appreciated dramatically.
