About MAC-10 | Copper Borre
The MAC-10 | Copper Borre in Minimal Wear is the most artistically distinctive MAC-10 finish in CS2. Released in the Norse Collection (Operation Riptide, September 2021), Copper Borre wraps the SMG in dense Norse-knotwork engraving over a copper-leaf base — a visual style that nods to Viking metallurgy rather than firearms.
Why this finish is undervalued
The MAC-10 is a low-tier weapon competitively — its primary use case is anti-eco. That suppresses skin demand across the board. Copper Borre is the rare exception: collectors pursue it for the artistic execution rather than weapon prestige. The Norse Collection itself is among Valve's most thematically coherent skin sets.
MW as the right wear
The copper-leaf base loses warmth quickly past Field-Tested. At MW the engraving lines stay sharp against an unbroken base, and the play side reads as a worked metal surface rather than a graphic print. This is the wear most photographs and inspect screenshots show.
