The MP9 | Pandora's Box in Minimal Wear is one of CS:GO's most artistically ambitious SMG skins. Released in the Operation Phoenix Weapon Case (February 2014), Pandora's Box wraps the MP9 in a Greek-mythological scene — winged figures, classical architecture, golden ornament — executed in a near-fresco style across every panel of the receiver.
Why this finish matters
The MP9 is a CT-side budget SMG with limited competitive use, which suppresses skin demand for most finishes. Pandora's Box breaks this pattern: collectors pursue it for the painted execution and Phoenix-collection heritage value. Among Phoenix-era covert skins, Pandora's Box is one of the most artistically distinct.
MW specifics
The painted detail is fine-line work. At MW, the architectural and figure detail stays legible at inspection range. FT and below soften the smaller details into impressionistic suggestion; FN preserves everything but at a steep premium reflecting Phoenix Case discontinuation.
