About ★ Shadow Daggers | Crimson Web
The ★ Shadow Daggers | Crimson Web in Factory New brings the pattern-lottery Crimson Web finish to the dual-blade Shadow Daggers model. From the Bravo Collection (September 2013) — the same Arms Deal-era source that gave Karambit and Butterfly their Crimson Webs — the finish layers black spider-web patterning over a crimson base, with the seed-determined web placement deciding the value range as on all Crimson Web copies.
Web placement on a dual-blade model
The Shadow Daggers' twin-blade design doubles the surface where webs can land but also splits the visible play face during the inspect animation. Tier-1 patterns here are copies where both blades carry centred webs without contamination from the grips — the pattern hunt is effectively two parallel lotteries. Triple-Web-tier copies on Shadow Daggers are rarer than on single-blade knives precisely because both blades need to land cleanly.
Why FN matters on the dual-blade base
The crimson base coat takes wear differently from blue or grey finishes — it darkens to burgundy rather than greying out — so the colour distinction holds longer at higher floats. But the web outlines themselves do soften with wear, and on a dual-blade design where the eye reads both surfaces in parallel, that softening is visible at any normal inspect distance. FN preserves the sharp web outlines that make the pattern legible across both blades.
