Slaughter is a low-key pattern lottery: the seed decides how dense the red splatter sits across the steel, with cleaner copies showing more even saturation and pattern-tier copies showing dramatic centred bleed.

Slaughter pattern variance reads through the density and placement of the red ink: tier-1 copies have a centred, balanced bleed on the play face with no contamination running off the blade edge; lower-tier patterns either spread too thinly across the steel (washing out) or cluster too heavily on one edge (looking like a paint accident rather than a finish). The Talon's curved blade narrows the visible surface to roughly one face during inspect, which makes the pattern call on a single side more decisive than on straight-blade knives.
