About USP-S | Caiman
The USP-S | Caiman in Factory New is one of the most carefully designed pistol skins in CS2. Released with the Operation Hydra Case (May 2017), Caiman wraps the USP-S slide in a high-detail crocodile-leather pattern with brass fittings — the kind of art-direction effort usually reserved for covert AKs.
Why this skin endures
Caiman doesn't follow a graphic style trend. The leather pattern, brass details and warm beige base read as a luxury-firearm aesthetic that ages well — closer to a custom rifle stock than a printed graphic. Among Hydra-era skins, Caiman is one of the few that has gained collector value rather than fading into mid-tier obscurity.
FN versus other conditions
FT and below show notable wear-through on the leather pattern's lighter highlights, where the brass fittings sit. FN preserves the texture clarity that makes the skin distinctive. The MW-to-FN spread is wider than usual on Caiman because the float-based texture preservation matters more here than on flat-finish pistols.
