Qualifications

The BIG Comeback
The most dramatic story of the day came from BIG. Against NRG, the German side found themselves staring down a 0-12 scoreline before mounting one of the most improbable comebacks in Major history. Pulling round after round back on the T side, BIG closed the deficit and stole the map, punching their ticket to Stage 2 in the process.
Heroic's Exit
Heroic's elimination was the day's biggest name-brand casualty. Once a fixture in the top 5, the Danish roster has been in decline through the CS2 era and could not survive Stage 1 despite reaching the Major.

Format Note
With three qualifications and three eliminations completed on Day 3, only a handful of matches remained to determine the final Stage 1 spots. Day 4 would decide the last qualifiers from the 2-2 group.
