How the ranking works
HLTV's algorithm updates every Monday and uses a rolling three-month window. LAN results are weighted more heavily than online matches, and a team must retain at least three core roster members to keep its accumulated ranking points intact.
Vitality's ceiling
Vitality's 1,000 points is the maximum possible under the current system. The French squad first hit the ceiling earlier in 2026 after their run of trophies at IEM Katowice, IEM Kraków, IEM Rio and their qualifier events. BLAST Rivals Fort Worth simply extended the domination.
FURIA's steady climb
FURIA's second place with 626 points reflected the immediate impact of adding YEKINDAR to the FalleN-led core alongside molodoy, KSCERATO, and yuurih. The lineup, on paper, remains one of the most talented in the Americas region.
