Spirit still sit atop the Valve Regional Standings with 2,013 points as of the August 2 cutoff, ahead of Team Falcons (1,955), MOUZ (1,873), 9z Globant (1,845) and Team Vitality (1,844). Falcons remain a fixed point in the picture as the reigning IEM Cologne 2026 Major champions, while Vitality quietly stack ranking points ahead of a home-crowd Esports World Cup.
MOUZ's climb is the more dramatic story on the HLTV side. The lineup, built around torzsi, Spinx, xelex, jimpphat and recent NXT promotion Oldřich "PR" Nový, entered the Bounty as an outside pick for the trophy and left as the tournament's most complete team. Two straight best-of-five wins over Astralis (a reverse sweep) and Spirit have injected serious momentum into a young roster still finding its ceiling.
Spirit's story is more nuanced. Donk's group-stage form was arguably the best of his career, capped by a 2.84-rated Dust2 demolition of 100 Thieves. But the Grand Final revealed cracks: T-side executes that failed to break MOUZ's setups, plus donk's own drop-off from the semifinal onward. The team retains world-class talent, but their aura of invincibility is dented.
