LANXESS Arena, the German venue that has hosted more iconic Counter-Strike moments than perhaps any other, will welcome the IEM Cologne 2026 Major from June 2 to June 21. The venue's history
LANXESS Arena has hosted Cologne events since 2016. The building's atmosphere is unmatched in Counter-Strike — a sound wall of German fans that greets every peel and clutch. For many players, walking onto the Cologne stage is the pinnacle of professional CS.

- Stage 1: 16-team Swiss (June 2-6)
- Stage 2: 16-team Swiss (June 8-10)

Stage 3 seeded teams
Eight teams received direct Stage 3 seeding based on VRS results and prior 2026 achievements: Team Vitality, FURIA, Natus Vincere, Team Falcons, MOUZ, Aurora, The MongolZ, and PARIVISION.
Live crowd for the group stage
For the first time in a CS2 Major, fans can attend the group stage live. Historically, group stages ran behind closed doors or in smaller side venues. Cologne 2026 opens the arena for early matches, dramatically expanding the fan experience.
