His last final appearance before Cologne came at IEM Rio 2022 with FaZe Clan, where the team lost to Outsiders. In an interview with HLTV following the victory, NiKo emphasized how much the pursuit had weighed on him personally.</p><h3>Reconnecting With karrigan</h3><p>The victory was also a reunion story. NiKo spent years alongside karrigan and zonic at FaZe Clan before those partnerships broke apart.
