Fresh off Spirit's BLAST Open Porto title, MVP donk gave a candid interview about the pressures at the top of CS.
On staying at the top
"The hardest part of being at the top is staying at the top."
donk emphasised that Spirit still need to prove consistency at the upcoming EPL tournament in Katowice before declaring themselves at peak.
On MOUZ redemption
Spirit had been previously unable to defeat MOUZ, who took them down at BLAST Bounty Season 2. donk acknowledged that Spirit have "improved a lot as a team and basically fixed a lot of problems" since that loss — evidenced by controlling all four maps in the grand final rematch.
On the MVP vs teammates
Despite the MVP award, donk explicitly prefers watching his teammates celebrate:
"It's more enjoyable to see how guys… to watch your teammates."
He also highlighted that the team operates under IGL magixx's leadership — a structure he clearly values.
Upcoming benchmark
EPL Katowice in one month will be the true measure of whether Spirit's current run represents a sustainable peak or a hot streak.
