ESL revealed the Stage 3 (Champions) single-elimination bracket pairings for IEM Cologne Major 2026 at 12:00 CEST on June 11, six days before the bracket opens at the LANXESS arena. Pairings were seeded by Stage 2 final standing:
The four quarterfinal matchups
- Vitality (3-0 seed 1) vs Aurora (3-2 seed 8): June 17, 17:00 CEST. World No. 1 against the no-bootcamp Almaty side that beat paiN in Stage 2 opener. Aurora are the lowest-seeded Champions advancer.
- The MongolZ (3-0 seed 2) vs paiN (3-2 seed 7): June 17, 20:30 CEST. The second meeting of the Major — paiN are the only Champions side The MongolZ have not yet played in Stage 2 (the Stage 2 bracket pairings put them on separate paths). The MongolZ enter on the Mongolian-CS-history rally; paiN enter as the first Brazilian side at Champions since 2024.
- Spirit (3-1 seed 3) vs Falcons (3-2 seed 6): June 18, 17:00 CEST. PGL Astana 2026 grand-final rematch — Spirit beat Falcons 3-0 at PGL Astana on May 17, with donk taking MVP at 1.61 rating. Falcons' Cologne path included a Day 3 loss to Vitality and a Day 4 loss to Spirit.
