The path
Stage 1 (June 2-5): 3-0 closeout. Day 1 13-3 over 3DMAX on Mirage, Day 2 13-10 over HEROIC on Inferno, Day 3 2-0 over BetBoom in the advancement bo3 (Mirage 13-9, Anubis 13-7). Pre-Stage-1 analyst consensus advancement probability: 88%, the highest of any Stage 1 side.
Stage 2 (June 6-10): 2-3 elimination. Day 1 lost to The MongolZ 10-13 on Cache, Day 2 lost to paiN 7-13 on Dust2, Day 3 (elimination bo3) beat Metizport 2-1, Day 4 (1-2 bo3) beat FURIA 2-1, Day 5 (2-2 bo3) lost to Aurora 1-2.
The structural read
The pattern across the Stage 2 losses: GamerLegion got beaten on opponent picks where their T-side map-pool depth was the weakness. Cache (vs MongolZ) and Dust2 (vs paiN) were the two opponent picks in the 0-2 Stage 2 start. The team's CT-side map-pool depth (the Stage 1 advantage that produced the 88% consensus) does not transfer cleanly to a Swiss format where the opponent controls map selection in alternating bans-and-picks.
The Aurora Day 5 loss confirms the read: Aurora chose Mirage as the decider (after splitting Inferno and Nuke 1-1), and GamerLegion's Mirage CT side that carried the Stage 1 3-0 was the side that failed to deliver — Aurora closed the T half 9-3 and held off the late CT-side comeback to win 13-9.

The bookmaker move from Stage 1 close to current is the largest drift in a single Major: GamerLegion went from 32.0 to win the Major at Stage 1 close (May 22 release) to 250.0 implied at Stage 2 elimination — a 7.8x drift inside 19 days.
