The Astralis return storyline
Astralis return to competition at the EU RMR after the May 2026 management scandal (resolved July 20 per our earlier coverage). Their EU RMR performance is a first-look for the restructured roster (gla1ve, dev1ce, stavn, jabbi, raalz). Danish CS2 community expects Astralis to fight for top-8 finish — a solid Rio Major qualification would validate the restructure.
The blameF Heroic rumor
Multiple Nordic-adjacent sources confirmed to Nordic esports outlets July 21 that blameF is finalizing a Heroic contract, expected to be announced pre-EU-RMR. If confirmed, Heroic reunite blameF with cadiaN (Heroic IGL) — a partnership that produced 2 tier-1 titles together in 2020-2021. This would materially elevate Heroic's EU RMR seed positioning.

- MOUZ vs FaZe head-to-head potential: Both in top-3 EU RMR seeds. Head-to-head in later Swiss rounds likely.
- Astralis return performance: Post-scandal legitimacy test — how well the new signings integrate under IGL gla1ve.
- Aleksib potential signing: Post-NAVI release + kingfisher trial conclusion — Aleksib could sign with any tier-1 EU RMR roster before August 21 opening. Astralis + Heroic are speculated destinations.
