Team Vitality's 3-0 sweep of Natus Vincere in the BLAST Rivals Fort Worth 2026 Grand Final on May 3 will be remembered for one map above all others: Nuke. The French squad found themselves buried 0-11 at the midpoint on their opening pick, staring down what should have been a comfortable NAVI opener at Dickies Arena.
The 16-round rally
What followed was a rally that ended 16-12 in overtime. Vitality's CT-side execution began to strangle NAVI's economy, and the momentum shift on the back half was total. By the time the map reached OT, the crowd in Fort Worth had turned into a wall of noise for the visiting Europeans.

After breaking NAVI's Nuke pick, Vitality closed out Anubis 13-11 and then obliterated Dust2 13-3. The result gave Vitality their fifth consecutive trophy of 2026 and a $125,000 share of the $350,000 prize pool.

Head coach XTQZZZ later told broadcast the Nuke reset was "the moment that told us what this roster is capable of when everything is falling apart." The comeback set the tone for what Vitality would attempt to carry into IEM Cologne 2026 preparation.
Why it matters
NAVI's b1t and w0nderful both put together strong halves on Nuke, but Vitality's ropz and mezii turned the tide with a run of clutches on retakes. The map is now widely referenced as one of the great modern CS2 grand-final comebacks alongside the historic Astralis and MOUZ reversals.
