Most Glove Case finishes are decorative — Crimson Kimono, King Snake, Spearmint. Turtle is the operator's choice: muted colors, structural detail, no graphic flourish. Among players who prefer their inventory to read as functional rather than fashionable, Turtle is the consistent pickup.
What MW gives the design
The hard-shell plating texture is most legible at low wear. At MW the green-black mottling stays sharp and the knuckle plates show their molded relief clearly. FT and below soften the textural detail into uniform dark green, losing the design's structural read.
