About Souvenir Tec-9 | Nuclear Threat
The Souvenir Tec-9 | Nuclear Threat in Field-Tested is one of CS2's most underappreciated souvenir oddities. The base finish — black-and-yellow radioactive caution graphics on the Tec-9 — was originally a Mil-Spec from the Nuke Collection (2014). Souvenir copies came exclusively from Cobblestone-related tournaments, which means the surviving inventory is small and capsule-locked.
Why this souvenir is desirable
The Tec-9 is rarely a souvenir-target weapon — most players hunt souvenir AWPs and AK-47s. That makes Nuclear Threat an outlier: low total population, distinctive base graphic, and tournament-era foil sticker compatibility. A clean four-sticker copy from a 2014-2015 major regularly trades at 2-3× the base price.
What FT actually looks like
The yellow caution stripes show wear-through on FT, but Nuclear Threat's hand-painted graphics tolerate it well — the design intent already implies operational use. Sticker placement is the buyer's primary concern; verify capsule provenance before committing.
