Released with the Horizon Case (November 2018), Slaughter on the Ursus turns the knife into the most thematically aggressive presentation in the line — large blade, red splatter, no decorative flourish.
Why Ursus + Slaughter works
The Ursus's wide blade gives Slaughter unusually broad canvas. Where Slaughter on smaller knives reads as small-scale decoration, on Ursus the splatter has full visual weight. Among Slaughter-finish knives, Ursus is one of the strongest aesthetic alignments between silhouette and finish.
MW preservation
Slaughter is forgiving of wear — the hand-painted irregularity already implies surface aging. MW preserves the contrast between glossy black base and saturated red splatter at the cleanest possible reading. Higher wear flattens both elements.
