Day 1 schedule
Four matches across each group, staggered between 15:30 and 23:00 UTC. Group A opens with B8 vs BetBoom at 15:30 UTC, followed by Vitality vs BC.Game at 18:00 UTC — the headline match of the opening evening. NAVI vs Passion UA at 20:30 UTC closes Group A's upper-bracket Round 1.
Group B mirrors the schedule with paiN vs FaZe at 15:30 UTC, NRG vs FUT at 18:00 UTC, SINNERS vs GamerLegion at 20:30 UTC, and the late headliner Liquid vs Astralis at 23:00 UTC — historically one of the best storylines of the spring.
Vitality vs BC.Game — the math
Vitality enters as the unambiguous tournament favorite. BC.Game just acquired Senzu on loan from The MongolZ five days before LAN. Two weeks of prep is not enough time to integrate a new entry against a Vitality roster that just closed five consecutive titles. Expect a 2-0 to Vitality with the second map closer than the first, but the result itself isn't the story — what's worth watching is whether Vitality's utility damage has improved closer to Astralis-era benchmarks during the prep window.
Liquid vs Astralis — the actual coin flip of the day
The most balanced Day 1 matchup. Astralis has been quietly building form through the Bucharest qualifier cycle; Liquid has been less consistent but capable of major-level upsets when the maps fall right. This is the match to watch live if you only catch one Day 1 series. Mirage will likely decide the series.
What to expect Day 2 onward
Double-elimination GSL means today's losers drop to lower bracket Round 1, where one more loss eliminates. The bracket will compress fast — by end of Day 3 the eight playoff slots will be locked.
